Fixing "Failed to Retrieve Customer Status"
When attempting to download race cards, Post Time Daily might display "Failed to Retrieve Customer Status". If so, it means the software was unable to connect to our server to verify your account. This is almost always caused by one of two things: an outdated version of the software, or a lost internet connection.
Cause 1: Outdated Software
Older versions of Post Time Daily could not connect to our servers using the latest security protocols. This prevents them from verifying your account. Updating to the latest version resolves this in most cases.
The most recent version is always available from the Software page of your account. See Installing Post Time Daily for a full walkthrough of downloading and installing the update.
Cause 2: No Internet Connection
Post Time Daily must be online to verify your customer status. If your computer is offline, or a firewall or antivirus program is blocking the software, you'll see this error even on the latest version.
- Confirm your computer can reach the internet (open a website in your browser).
- Check that a firewall or antivirus program isn't blocking Post Time Daily.
- Close and reopen Post Time Daily to try again.
